The Help Desk Support Specialist provides first level IT support to our users by helping to assess and troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and network issues with troubleshooting printers, desktops, Windows server and desktop operating systems, MS Office, VoIP phones, and network problems are all necessary skills for this role.

Required Skills:
Candidate must have experience working in Financial institutions or Insurance Agency or Large Law Firm.
Candidate must be local
Acts as a first point of contact for troubleshooting desktop and network issues
Responsible for imaging and re-imaging desktop and laptops
Install and update software as needed
Responsible for entering and resolving trouble
in our Ticketing system
3+ years working with and troubleshooting
hardware / software
General knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP Windows 7, Lotus Notes and all MS Office products
Experience with Active Directory and Group Policies
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks
Professional work ethic and attitude
BS in a related field or equivalent experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
