Senior Oracle Integration Functional Analyst

Responsibilities:
The Senior Oracle Integrations Functional Analyst acts as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to integrations of Oracle ERP with other internal and external software applications. Understands business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. Interprets and transforms information based on business requirements and provides the data for delivery. Conducts detailed research of vendor products and assists with general project management. Works with the business users and the technical developers to design and test interfaces between Oracle ERP and other systems.
Essential Functions
Strategy & Planning
o Work with management to generate quarterly work plans.
o Recommend improvements for the business analysis process.
o Provide recommendations to address and resolve business issues for a specific business group.
o Research tools to identify those that can best help serve the needs of clients.
Acquisition & Deployment
o Gather requirements, analyzes, creates design documents, and performs impact analysis for application changes.
o Plan and organize tasks, reports progress, manages and coordinates with consultants for implementations.
Operational Management
o Develop solutions to leverage Oracle ERP application functionality and suggest process improvements.
o Work with business teams and external systems
o Guides technical team in the development reports, conversions, interfaces and extensions for Oracle Applications.
o Understand and modify Application Configuration as required (includes system setups, flex-fields, workflow builder, custom library, profile options etc.).
o Assist users with problems and resolves issues independently.
o Create test plans, test cases, test scripts and performs functional testing.
o Create and maintain system documentation.
o Work with existing systems to track and manage requests and issues.
o Provide business reports to management and clients.
o Up to 25% travel as required (domestic and international)
o Work outside the standard office 7.5 hour work day as required.
Experience Required:
Knowledge & Experience
o 5
years IT experience.
o 5 years Oracle application experience with various Oracle ERP Financial or SCM modules.
o Experience in working on the functional design of integration between Oracle ERP and external systems such as other ERPs or custom applications
o Knowledge of AIM, OUM or other implementation methodology, experience in writing functional specification and test plan documents
o Strong systems/process orientation with demonstrated analytical thinking, organizational skills and problem solving skills.
o Expertise with configuration and setups for Oracle ERP modules.
o 3
years experience in lead support of software applications.
o Working knowledge of software development and support methodologies.
o Demonstrated skill in preparation and maintenance of implementation documents.
o Knowledge and familiarity in underlying Oracle ERP applications database architecture, as well as Oracle database and development tools (PL/SQL, SQL Plus, Forms, Reports).
o Good understanding of Oracle Business
events
and integration APIs
o Understand various essential business functions of an organization
o Knowledge of other integration technologies such as SOA, XML preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
