Our rapidly-growing Boston client is looking for a freelance Marketing Specialist to help them with their marketing initiatives. In this role, you will be managing all outbound email campaigns, including developing messaging, content, analytics and reporting. In addition, you will oversee all ecommerce, including strategy, margin analysis and offer code creation, etc. You will be working with technology to refine ecommerce functionality and managing a customer service staff member who manages income client calls and supports company clients.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to work well in a small team environment, be team-oriented and thrive in a friendly, intense, high-energy office. In addition, you should possess a strong sense of urgency, be great with data, including pivot tables, be analytical, responsive and agile as well as willing to jump in and get the work done. Resoursefulness, the ability to be comfortable with a trial and error approach and be hands-on all day is essential. Email marketing tool expertise is also necessary. Great communication skills, including writing, proofing, editing and working with all levels of staff is also required.

Work includes : ? Manage all outbound e-mail campaigns to our customers ? message, content, timing, analytics, etc.
? Develop all marketing content ? web, print, etc. (the rest of us chip in drafts, suggestions, etc)
? Oversee all e-commerce promotions ? strategies, margin analysis, offer code creation, etc.
? Team with our CTO in designing/testing/refining customer-facing e-commerce functionality
? Manage a customer service person who handles incoming parent calls, support liaison at schools, etc.
I could probably live temporarily without the 4th and 5th contributions; but we can?t keep going without 1-3 Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
