Our client, a privately owned retail development firm west of Boston, is looking for a temporary-to-direct hire Lease Compliance Associate.
Responsibilities:
Setting up note codes, new addresses and lease execution dates for new leases.
Processing requests from tenant for W-9 forms.
Handling monthly tenant coordination fees.
Obtaining list of tenants to be billed and following up with leasing representatives regarding intent to bill.
Preparing rent letters and property management sheets to add charge to tenant aging.
Saving tenant rent letters for scanning.
Processing notice address changes and calling tenant to confirm.
Updating lease document status spreadsheet for each state.
Updating Estoppel and SNDA status spreadsheets.
Assisting in preparation of labels for mass mailings.
Filing rent letters, property management sheets, copies of check requests, forms W-9.
Requirements:
Interested in working with numbers.
Associate's degree or higher education.
Excellent business writing and proof-reading skills.
Proficiency in Word, Excel and
computer
programs.
Strong organizational skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
