They manage assets for clients globally, including corporate/public pension plans, endowments, foundations and sovereign funds.
This role can be long term contract 6mos - 12 mos+, contract to permanent or direct
They where acquired within the last year, which provides strategic, commercial and financial benefits, including development of a diversified, global quantitative investment platform.
We are looking for a top-notch Java software developer to join our trading technologies team. This individual will focus on integrating a proprietary trading system with the middle/back office systems.
Proficiency in Java with strong modeling and design understanding
Experience with web technologies (front-end and service layer)
Experience with integration patterns
Experience working with databases (Sybase preferred) and JPA
Proven ability to produce high quality code while working independently
Independently produce high quality work in a fast-paced, mission critical environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity working in Linux or UNIX environment
Responsibilities
Collaborate on design of system that integrates a proprietary trading system with the middle/back office systems
Implement a Java application responsible for bi-directional communication of trade data and resulting positions
Build a web interface to provide status and control of data moving through a trade's workflow
Defining and implementing controls ensuring trades are correctly processed
