We are currently engaged with a client who is seeking a Helpdesk Professional on a full time direct employee basis. In this role, the Helpdesk Professional will:
Support a diverse and broad laboratory information technology environment that includes desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and servers.
Be responsible for handling the computing, networking, and ad-hoc technology-related issues which arise daily
Work closely with senior staff to triage and solve a broad range of problems that range from user
Assist with desktop applications to server build-outs
Support headquarters' computing environment and a large network of interconnected computers Maintain and manage group servers running Windows and UNIX
The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following:
Knowledge of Windows Active Directory and UNIX
Ability to debug, maintain, install, and configure desktop and server systems
Basic understanding of commonly used desktop applications and software packages
Unix scripting

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
