SAS Programmer - Unique, Long-Term Opportunity

Lead SAS Programmer
Location: Boston, MA
Rate: $60-$75/hour
Contract: 12
months
This is where science meets venture capital. In this role, you would support data validation in Data Management, and Biostatistics functions. You would perform QA activities for the Biostatistics area in support of the design and interpretation of clinical research/trial data.
Required:
Program data review listings, data integrity checks, and study metrics
Perform all levels of SAS programming required by study data validation plans, including parallel programming of datasets and outputs
Generate and validate summary tables, data listings and figures for in-house analyses of study data or publications
Participate in developing the Statistical Analysis Plan, so that planned outputs and study endpoint measures are consistent with the study design
Develop and maintain SAS macros or other utilities to build quality into routine SAS programming activities
Participate in validation of statistical software packages throughout the software development lifecycle, as needed
Assist in the validation of work by other programmer/analysts (either vendor in-house), as needed
BS or MS in math, natural science, or information technology
2 or more years' experience in clinical trials research, either at a pharmaceutical/biotech sponsor or CRO setting
Proficient in SAS programming with SAS/Base, SAS/Stat and SAS Macro and SAS/Graph
Knowledge of CDISC theory and implementation guidelines, with an ability to create and validate SDTM and ADaM datasets with minimal supervision
Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
Desired:
ISS and ISE experience
