Summary:
Coordinate across multiple quality-related work streams in the math and science team . Define metrics, strategy, and approaches for addressing quality outcomes across complex content, software components, dev ops, and production monitoring.
Position Description (Essential Duties & Responsibilities):
Work with Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Support organizations to continuously understand and assess the quality of service to end-users and strategize with internal leadership on strategies to drive improvements in a sustainable fashion
Work with QA/QC service providers both in-house and external, on-shore and off-shore to implement effective quality strategies across the whole program in order to produce a satisfied customer and end user experience.
Partner with Software Development Managers and Content Production Managers to assess and meet their needs for quality outcomes for the entire breadth and life cycle of digital learning products, including:
Software components and platform features
Complex digital content, such as math assessments
Operational procedures for analyzing performance and availability
Act as an integral part of the Hardside technical leadership team, working with multiple software development managers and product owners.
Monitor quality levels and provide guidance to teams on achieving consistent quality levels across MTQ products; assist teams in resolving problems or issues that impact quality of products and of the user experience
Apprise leaders and stakeholders of quality metrics and outcomes of issues resolution
Knowledge/Skills/
Experience:
Basic (Required)
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and recent, relevant work experience
At least 5 years of experience in a technical position in a software development organization, including experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Management role
At least 3 years of project or program management experience, including experience managing multiple technology projects concurrently
Must be self-directed and be able to proactively anticipate and address needs and issues
Must have strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders in other departments or functional groups
Must be able to recognize and navigate interdependencies to ensure mutually successful results
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
Ability to define and communicate strategy and translate into implementation plans and actions
Preferred
Previous experience as a people manager, preferably in a quality role

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
