What the job is
We are looking for an amazing Front-End Web Developer, who will partner with his team colleagues on the Back-End, in Design and in Online/Growth Marketing to create an unforgettable online user experience. The website is the principle revenue generator for the Company, as well as the gateway to all user interactions online, including the customer portal, the developer portal, customer support, the Skills Shop, and more. The web team will be responsible for managing the ecommerce platform and the developer portal, driving engagement, and making constant improvements for the optimal experience. The web team will play an integral role with all other online properties.
What you'll be doing
Develop new user-facing features
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Optimize site for maximum speed and scalability
Assure that all user input is validated before hand off to back-end
Provide website maintenance and ongoing enhancements
What you need to know
Strong proficiency in interpreting graphic visual or interaction designs in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
Proficiency in creating, editing and modifying templates for a CMS
Proficiency in working with a responsive approach to web design
Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms
Basic understanding of image authoring tools to be able to crop, resize or perform small adjustments of an image
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility testing, issues, and ways to work around them
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that site will adhere to them
Good understanding of Google analytics
Good understanding of growth hacking principles and A/B testing processes
What experience you need to have
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related discipline
Minimum 5 years experience in a Front-End development position
Exposure to websites as the core facilitator of revenue and growth
Experience in working in a start up environmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
