Our client is one of the oldest investment firms in the United States. They are looking for a Sr. SQL Developer to join their Income Systems Development Team to design develop, and support Fixed Income portfolio management and trading software systems.

Required Skills
5
years of experience developing with C#
5
years of experience developing with SQL server
Excellent communication and organizational skills and ability to communicate with non-technical investment professionals
Extensive knowledge of object-oriented design and programming including design patterns, SOLID principles, etc.
Practical understanding of relational database design, including data modeling, normalization and denormalization.
Thorough familiarity with SQL Server programming using Transact-SQL, as well as basics of SQL Server administration, security, and index creation.
Knack for collaboration, sketching and discussing designs at a whiteboard, pair programming, asking for help before it is needed, and openly sharing code, designs, and ideas.
Experience with the following techniques, libraries, and tools are helpful:
Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and/or Lean
Test driven development
Code Generation
Windows Forms, Entity Framework, LINQ
Subversion, NUnit, Resharper, LeanKit
