Duration: 12 month contract
Our Financial Services client is looking for a Business Systems Analyst with expertise in Bloomberg AIM Trading System. In this role you would be part of a project involving the merger of two instances onto one. You would work closely with the business users on 3 trading desks within the Fixed Income team.
Required Skills:
Experience with SQL and User Acceptance Testing.
Expertise with Bloomberg AIM and all the acronyms.
Solid understanding of system development methodologies and techniques, and an excellent grasp of database concepts and principles.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a history of taking initiative.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Provide analysis, perform data validation, gather and document business requirements from business users
Understand business processes, identify problems and opportunities
Initiate resolution to incidents via our bug/enhancement tracking system and follow-up to ensure completion of tasks needed to resolve problems
Understand the client's business needs and integration points beyond the immediate requirements
Desired Skills:
Previous system implementation experience helpful.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
