What the job is
We are looking for an amazing Back-End Web Developer, who will partner with his team colleagues on the Front-End, in Design and in Online/Growth Marketing to create an unforgettable online user experience. The website is the principle revenue generator for the Company, as well as the gateway to all user interactions online, including the customer portal, the developer portal, customer support, the Skills Shop, and more. The web team will be responsible for managing the ecommerce platform and the developer portal, driving engagement, and making constant improvements for the optimal experience. The web team will play an integral role with all other online properties.
What you'll be doing
Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
Building reusable code libraries for future use
Optimization of the site for maximum speed and scalability
What you need to know
Basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Experience with node.js modules such as Express, Hapi, or Restify.
Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors
Knowledge of integrating multiple data sources and databases into one system
Proficiency in working with a responsive approach to web design
Understanding of differences between multiple delivery platforms such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimizing output to match the platform
Proficiency in working with a CMS system
Proficiency in the setup and administration of back-ups
Proficiency in implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
Strong proficiency in Jibo's named back-end programming language Node.js
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
What experience you need to have
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related discipline
Minimum 5 years experience in a Back-End development position
Exposure to websites as the core facilitator of revenue and growth
Experience in working in a start-up environment

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
