The Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing leadership and development for strategies, structure, and performance in a full range of HR functions throughout the organization. They will develop standards for delivering cost effective and innovative services and practices to employees; provide guidance to senior management; formulate and recommend relevant policies and procedures; and develop processes to ensure creative, innovative employee life cycle from recruitment to termination.
Responsibilities
Develop programs to enhance employee relations; build and drive strong employee culture and communication
Design, implement, and evaluate key HR initiatives, strategies and policies; ensuring Federal and State compliance
Oversee the onboarding processes for new SGA employees; ensuring that the process properly introduces new employees to SGA's culture
Work with Partners and Directors to establish recruiting goals and standards for new SGA employees; develop and foster employee retention strategies at all levels, work with Senior Leadership to develop quality mentoring programs, training and professional development strategies and initiatives
Work with CFO, COO and Controller to develop and manage training and professional development budgets
Manage benefits strategies and compensation benchmarking, negotiations, development, implementation, and administration
Manage salary administration and payroll entry; oversee Paid Time Off requests and compliance
Develop staffing strategies for key management positions; assist with annual performance review; identifying development opportunities and work with management and staff
Conduct and report on Employee relations and investigations
Maintain and pay for state licenses, and coordinate applications for new licenses with NCARB and state boards
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, with emphasis in Human Resources preferred

years' experience in a Human Resources supervisory position, strong business sense and results-orientation
Strong written and verbal communication skills and presence
Experience in designing successful recruitment programs
Motivated self-starter
Serves as a role model and mentor for others
Demonstrated history of achievement in a successful leadership capacity
Demonstrated ability to improve employee morale
Comprehensive understanding of local, MA and NY state and federal employment laws
Knowledgeable in employment law issues and legal compliance (Title VII, ERISA, DOL, ADA, FMLA, OSHA etc.)
The ability to research, analyze and reason logically within tight and conflicting timeframes
Experience in leading and working effectively in teams
Experience in providing advice and support to leadership team on strategic matters
Experience in leading projects and implementing new initiatives
Some travel to the NY office is required

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
