The Expertise We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
At least two years' experience in a security position or equivalent, with focus on delivering basic services in a customer oriented environment.
Prior exposure to security technology or systems is preferred.
The Purpose of Your Role
The Security Representative II role is a representative for Corporate Security's full range of Asset, Information and People Protection Services. This position will serve as a first responder to all event management incidents and provide professional response to all emergency situations. Will have full command of all job requirements of Security Representative II and show mastery in some areas.
The Skills You Bring
You will have strong knowledge of basic physical security techniques and principles, or the ability to acquire such knowledge through training.
You will have a strong knowledge of basic first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), or the ability to acquire such knowledge through training.
You will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; other computer applications knowledge helpful.
Able to spend periods of time walking or standing at a fixed post; able to perform first responder rescue activities involved with medical or facility emergency situations.
Ability to prepare clear, concise, and readable written incident reports and projects.
Ability to meet and deal with the general public.
Ability to maintain poise and self-control under stress.
The Value You Deliver
Conducting security and safety related audits to verify compliance with policies, ensure working order of devices and safety of work areas. Documents and reports all findings for corrective action
Preparing written reports of incidents. Uses various computer applications to document safety hazards, report incidents, communicate with supervisors and access company sponsored Intranet reference sites.
Performing administrative and processing functions at security badging station, to include customer verification, fingerprinting, badge creation and access control processing. May assist with customer service requests relating to physical access to facilities.
Understanding of Fidelity corporate structure, critical areas and functions and senior executives. Strong knowledge of owned, leased and tenant facilities, to include building control systems, space layouts and infrastructure.
Utilizing CCTV equipment to review surveillance tapes to support investigative or operational efforts. May perform basic surveillance or investigative support duties.
Understanding of Fidelity Emergency Management Organization (FEMO) concepts, policies and operations.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
