Overall Responsibilities:
The Sr. Financial Analyst will be responsible for annual financial planning, quarterly forecasting, and financial analytics. The Sr. Financial Analyst will have frequent interaction with the VP of Finance, Associate Director and Supervisors of FP&A, as well as interaction with the CFO, Corporate Controller, Accounting Manager, and the heads of major business units. The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, is a person that enjoys new challenges, and possesses the ability and desire to grow and assume additional responsibilities as the company grows. PCG is currently implementing Workday FMS, as well as Workday Adaptive Planning; experience in one or both of these systems is required.
Responsibilities:
Sr. Financial Analyst Provide guidance and support during the Workday/Adaptive implementation and after go live Contribute to the completion of the annual plan, quarterly forecasting, and monthly financial analytics Analyze current and historical financial trends/impact in all areas of revenue, expenses, capital expenditures and potential tactical acquisitions Monitor and develop key performance indicators Assist with integration of newly acquired entities Support business unit and corporate employees through analysis of financial data Support business units and corporate departments during budgeting and forecasting periods Support training and development of finance department staff Act as part of implementation team for Financial System upgrades and enhancements Learn selected other roles in PCG finance to provide backup support when necessary Assist with accounting system upgrades, design of accounting system interfaces with other corporate software (actual upgrades performed by IT Enterprise Support Team) Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures and recommend accounting process improvements Special projects as assigned Other Possible Responsibilities:
Financial Analyst Preparation of annual fringe and/or overhead rate ratios Coordinate occasional project and/or governmental audits between project teams, outside auditors and/or government agencies and clients to ensure timely completion Assist RFP teams with financial information and guidance on responding to audit language in RFPs Required Skills:
Strong desire and ability to learn new systems, ultimately using this knowledge to support and further financial analysis Effective Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activity streams Ability to work effectively, and communicate, with all levels of management Excellent organizational skills, verbal and written communication skills Leadership skills Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel Possess discretion to work with confidential information Required
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA preferred 5 - 7 years of advanced financial analysis in a complicated business environment Experience working with Workday FMS and/or Adaptive Planning (Insight) Knowledge of planning and forecasting Accounting experience Strong experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Corporate FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
